NEWS RELEASE

ALGOMA PUBLIC HEALTH

*************************
All children under 5 years of age are considered higher risk for H1N1

November 3, 2009 - Vaccine shortages may delay Algoma Public Health’s (APH) schedule to deliver H1N1 vaccine in our school clinics.

APH is informing parents of children under 5 years of age who may be on a school clinic list to be aware that you can have these children vaccinated earlier by booking into the flu line bookings.

APH advises this approach as vaccine can be accessed earlier for these children by using these APH clinics.

Only children under 5 years of age will be booked.

Call to book your appointment: 541-2332 or 1-800-469-2449.
