Male youth arrested after causing damage to City Transit bus

A 14-year-old male youth was arrested on the 31st of October at 2:05 p.m. at his residence and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000.

It is alleged that on the 31st of October at around 1 p.m., the accused was riding on the bus and smashed a window when he punched it.

He is to appear in court on the 1st of December.

Break and enter reports

- A resident in the 100 block of Pentagon called police regarding a break and enter in progress to their home around 2:53 a.m. this morning. Two females were found inside the home and were scared off by the resident. They fled in a van with a television from the home. The investigation is continuing. They were described to be in their 30s, Native American, one was wearing a white coat average height and medium build.

- A resident on Cathcart Street called police regarding a break and enter in progress at approximately 12:53 a.m. on the 1st of November after discovering a male inside the home. The male fled on foot with two bags of tobacco, tobacco tubes, some cash and a can of pop. Officers checked the area with negative results. The male was described as having a thin build wearing a black jacket and carrying a green bag.

- A residence in the 100 block of Cathcart was entered on the 31st of October sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Cash and electronics were reported stolen including a PlayStation.

Mischief reports

- A vehicle on Ransome Drive was damaged sometime overnight on the 30-31st of October. The rear window was smashed and wipers were taken off.

- A home on Moluch Street was egged around 2:40 a.m. on the 31st of October.

- Tomatoes were thrown at vehicles parked in the lot at 70 East Street around 11:25 p.m. on the 30th of October.
