The competition was tough as a total of 11 teams took part in the FIRST Lego League robotics tournament held today in the Sault College gymnasium.Today's event marked the debut of the event in Sault Ste. Marie and regional coordinator Steve Burmaster promised it will not be the last.

And when the elementary school teams weren't vying for robotic dominance, they entertained the sizable audience by showing off their wicked dance and limbo skills.
After all was said and done, the Grandview Gadgets and the Anna McRae Robo Falcons reigned supreme, moving on to compete at the provincial championships to be held in Oakville on December 8.
