David Gutnik, casino manager at Casino Sault Ste. Marie, graciously complied when our photographer asked him this afternoon if he'd get smoochy with Lucky the Moose.Actually, we were hoping for Lucky's other end, Mr. Gutnik, so we could write cutesy headlines about the caboose of the moose, etc.
Lucky, a 68-kilogram fiberglass cow moose sculpture, arrived today from Toronto and was installed in front of the local charity casino.
She's one of two moose sculptures commissioned by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. for Toronto's famous 'Moose on the Loose!' tourism campaign.
The other OLGC moose, named Suit, is being installed at the Thunder Bay Charity Casino.

(EDITOR'S NOTE: It hasn't escaped our attention that some of our dear readers have managed to get their noggins confused over this week's superabundance of moose in the news.
For the record, Lucky the Moose (shown above) is not Bruce the Moose, who stands proudly near Docks Bar and Grill and isn't budging an inch.
Similarly, the Suit in the photo above is David Gutnik, unrelated in any way to Suit the Moose, who last we heard was in a truck somewhere between Toronto and Thunder Bay.
We trust this sets things straight.)
