Lucidia is expanding our team and looking for .NET Web Developers. Practical experience is a must and all qualified candidates will be tested as part of an interview process.

.Net Application Developer
Our .Net Developers perform web development programming using a minimum of .Net 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. It’s their job to deliver industry-leading websites and web applications to our clients. They work closely with the Client Strategy team to understand the specific needs of each client, and then create websites and web-based applications to meet those needs. They also work with the Design Team, and business systems analyst to ensure that design concepts are incorporated seamlessly into their work. On occasion our developers also work directly with our clients when their expertise and opinions are needed regarding technical issues.

Responsibilities
- Handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
- Analyze business requirements and transform them into technical design
- Implement the design to develop and test the functional requirements
- Source code maintenance
- Continuously monitor website and database performance
- Proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the site and the business
- Interact with business development and marketing team to understand the business requirements
- Provide effort estimates and prioritize tasks
- Provide timely functional releases so as to meet fast changing business requirements
- Assess risk and impact on the existing system that may arise due to any requirement or functional change

Required Skills and Experience
- Specific software knowledge including VS.NET 2005 / 2008, SQL Server 2005, and MS-SQL Management Studio
- Languages and concepts including ASP.NET (VB and/or C#) 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5, OOP Application design / modeling, T-SQL, Javascript, and HTML / CSS.
- An asset would be knowledge of AJAX, IIS 6.0, IIS 7.0, SharePoint and Adobe Photoshop
- University degree or college diploma
- 3 years practical experience
