Good morning gang ... thanks for the (_)> ... I hope the rain holds off long enough to get a little yard work done. Lots of apples on the ground to get raked up.
Things will soon be settled down and I have to get my curling gear out as I believe they started last week. THERE IS LOTS OF ME BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH TO GO AROUND.

No time to think about Christmas this year... too many weeks away a whole life time takes place between now and then. I'll let the kids know on the 24th if we're gonna have one this year.
Christmas is like birthdays once you have enough of them you tend not to think too much about them any more....ha ha ha LOL

KB, I even sewed some yarn to my mitts so I can put them around my neck and not lose them :) I can't drink wine in a stemmed glass with mittens, so I have a tendency to lay them down and forget them!

I intend to do the same with my mitts when I get them tomorrow NB. I don't normally have mitts or gloves so I will forget them also. I will crochet a chain and wear'em kiddy style.
OK I am having pogo withdrawals. I tried playing under my name and epc's and the games are temporarily out of service. WTF I need to DE-STRESS before work.

Christmas...I don't want to think of it, I've been wrapped up in yarn for the past month making blankets for gifts, I'm refusing to put up a tree this year. It is just more of a pain when you have to take everything down. So I'll survive with my christmas music and cup of tea. My crochet hook just flying. Only 3 more full size blankets to go. Taking only a week to make a blanket isn't bad at all.

i usually use a granny square or do straight double crochet, i have the ability to crochet while at work though and I usually crochet in between working with customers

I am with you there Drum. I can knit, crochet or cross stitch between calls too. We have a drive on right now to give hats, mitts, etc to Christmas Cheer. I made 3 kids hats on yesterday's shift and one today along with some facecloths.
Some people are just in awe watching the fingers fly. I like the combination of a row of double stitch, a row of half double stitch and a row of single stitch all in alternation.
