Celebrate Customer Service Week, June 1st to 5th, 2009!

The Sault Ste. marie Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host is Custoemr Service Week Breakfast on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009.

Join us we look at, and discuss, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the first standard attached to this Act dealing with Customer Service.

Enacted in 2005, the Accessibility for Ontarians Act will change the way business is done in the province of Ontario. It will help us achieve accessibility for those in our province with disabilities in respect to goods, services, facilities accommodations, employment, access to buildings and structures.

As the Act moves toward full implementation, various standards will be introduced which all businesses and agencies will have to meet and abide by. The first of the standards introduced deals with CUSTOMER SERVICE... And it is now law!

Join us as we look at the Act and the process of implementation, what this means for your business or agency, timelines for implementation as well as what you can do right now to make your business and customer service more accessible.
