The SSM Chamber of Commerce and Take 5 visited TELUS – Cambrian Mall, last night for two hours of food, fun and great networking.

Guests to the event had an opportunity to meet and talk with TELUS reps about the latest in mobile communications and some of the benefits that their businesses could enjoy. Nobody in attendance could disagree that mobile communications and PDA technology has significantly changed the way that business is done today and that it is important for business people to keep up with the latest innovations in order to remain competitive and provide their customers with the best service possible.

Several guests also walked away with some pretty nice prizes including two Blackberry Pearl Filp smartphones as well as gift and gas cards and other neat promo items courtesy of TELUS, HTC and RIM.

As part of its Take 5 event, the Cambrian Mall TELUS store offered free activation for Chamber member businesses and their employees on Wednesday, April 22nd. That opportunity is also being offered on Thursday, April 23rd (Cambrian Mall location only and some conditions apply; contact the store for details at 942-4426)
