Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, November
1, 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Einar. Dear mother of Helen Christenson and Ken Christenson (Mary Anne). Wonderful grandmother of Arianna and Madeline. Sister of Shirley Logan (late Roly) and the late Gerrie (Madeline). Daughter of the late Walter and Jettie Mae Knudsen. Sister-in-law of the late Esther Stenbol, Margit Allen, Bjarne, George and Norman Christenson. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Alene proudly served her country as a WREN in the Royal Canadian Navy as a sick berth attendant from 1943 to 1945. Service #W3953.
