CROSSING THE BAR
Sunset and evening star,
and one clear call for me!
And there may be no moaning from the bar,
when I put out to sea.
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
too full for sound and foam.
Fear not the hidden purpose of that
power which alone is great,
nor the myriad world his shadow
near the silent opening of the gate.
1928 - 2009 - At Della’a request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Please do not send cards or flowers. If you wish to remember me, do a random act of kindness for someone. My ashes will be interred in the Uriah McFadden plot in the old part of Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11 am. My two husbands predeceased me. Andrew Fleming, my beloved first husband in 1964. William Gardner my second beloved died in 1974. All my beloved blood kin predeceased me. Many of my dear friends have died. A fond farewell to friends and acquaintances who are still here.
