A Sault Ste. Marie comedian will be coming home for an upcoming show.

Lewis Hill will bring his stand-up comedy to Shooters Downstairs Lounge on May 30.

"I have so many great jokes and stories about growing up in the Soo, that I'm excited to share with a hometown audience. Those jokes are hard to land in other markets," said Hill in a news release.

"It's such a unique city, and to be able to come back and do what I love is pretty special. The support I receive from my hometown is nothing short of astounding."

Hill will be joined by Clint Gibbons and Dan Allaire on the Triple Jack Comedy North or Bust tour.

“We are all small-town boys; Clint is from Sudbury, and Dan is from Cornwall, Ont. Maybe that's why we get along so well," he added.

The trio performed in Sault Ste. Marie last year to a sold out audience, and they had such an amazing experience they’ve decided to make it an annual stop.

"It was Dan's first time in the area and he was blown away by the Northern Hospitality, the region's beauty, and a frigid Lake Superior. We had to bring him back as soon as possible,” Hill said.
